TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use apply to websites, mobile apps, and digital products operated by SSA Digital LLC, including BoxTag and Timesheet PDF: Work Hours. By using our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
OUR PRODUCTS
BoxTag is a local-first organization and inventory tool that helps users create and manage box or container records, locations, items, quantities, QR labels, restock information, movement history, audits, and manual backup files.
Timesheet PDF: Work Hours is a time-tracking and report-export tool. It is not a payroll, human resources, accounting, legal, tax, or employment-compliance service.
LOCAL DATA AND BACKUPS
Our apps generally store user-created records locally on the device and do not provide an SSA Digital LLC account or developer-operated cloud-storage service. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and preserving information you wish to keep. Deleting an app, losing or damaging a device, restoring or erasing a device, or restoring a backup that replaces current records may cause data loss.
BoxTag allows you to create manual backup files using Apple’s Files interface. You choose where to save a backup, such as iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or another Files-compatible provider. You are responsible for confirming that the file was saved, protecting it, retaining it, and ensuring the selected storage provider remains available. SSA Digital LLC cannot guarantee iCloud availability, capacity, synchronization, or recovery.
Before restoring a BoxTag backup, review the summary and warning shown in the app. A restore replaces current local BoxTag data. Although BoxTag validates backups and creates a temporary safety backup before replacement, no backup or restore system can be guaranteed to prevent every form of corruption, storage failure, interruption, or data loss.
QR LABELS AND SHORT CODES
A BoxTag QR label contains an identifier for a local record, not the inventory contents, photographs, or notes. A label can open the matching record only where that record is available. You are responsible for verifying that labels, short codes, exports, and printed materials match the intended container before relying on them. We do not guarantee that a damaged, altered, duplicated, or unsupported label will scan successfully.
USER RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for:
• Entering and maintaining accurate records
• Reviewing quantities, locations, restock information, audits, exports, reports, labels, and backup summaries
• Choosing where and with whom to share exported files or backups
• Maintaining appropriate device, storage, and access security
• Following any workplace, contract, safety, accounting, tax, employment, or legal requirements that apply to your use
BoxTag is not a purchasing, accounting, warehouse-control, safety-certification, or regulatory-compliance system. Its quantities, verification dates, restock list, and audit progress are organizational aids and should not be the sole basis for safety-critical, financial, legal, or compliance decisions.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAID FEATURES
Some features require a paid subscription. For BoxTag, the free version includes up to five active labels and one active location with basic scanning and records. BoxTag Pro may provide unlimited active labels, multiple locations and jobs, quantities and minimum stock levels, restock features, movement history, inventory audits, complete backup creation, reminders, exports, and other paid features supported by the current app version. Restore of a valid BoxTag backup remains available even if a previous Pro subscription has expired; normal current subscription limits apply to later creation or editing without deleting restored data.
App Store billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple under your Apple account. Prices and availability may vary by storefront and are displayed in the app using Apple’s localized StoreKit information. Unless Apple states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore Purchases in the app if a valid entitlement is not recognized.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not misuse our apps, websites, or digital products; violate laws; submit false or misleading information to others; interfere with the products; attempt unauthorized access to systems or data; distribute malicious content; or copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute our products except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
OWNERSHIP
SSA Digital LLC owns its apps, websites, software, branding, and original content. You retain responsibility for information and photographs you create or add. You grant no ownership of locally stored app data to SSA Digital LLC merely by using the app.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our products may use Apple system services, including the App Store, StoreKit, Files, iCloud Drive when you choose it, camera and photo frameworks, notifications, and standard sharing or printing tools. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and SSA Digital LLC does not control their availability or operation.
NO WARRANTY
Our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to provide useful and reliable products, but we do not guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or storage provider, or fit for every specific purpose.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSA Digital LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost photographs, lost inventory records, lost wages, lost profits, business interruption, inaccurate records, missed restocking, failed backups, or reliance on labels, audits, calculations, exports, or reports. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
CHANGES TO PRODUCTS OR TERMS
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
